I finished the stator for the oddball and after it was poured I decided to add air vents in the center of the coils. Everything went great until I let the router slip and ruin a coil by eating through the wiring. On a regular poured stator the mistake would have ruined the stator, but with the design of the new one, the fix was easy. I was able to replace the coil in a couple of hours and every thing turned out  as if it had not been damaged. pepa

Wax or silicon makes an easy job of that .I use plugs if thier made but silicon and a little waxed paper around the inside and save a little resin . Put just a dab on the wax paper strips and fill up the hole . Quite a bit to fill in the holes i guess but it pops right out if you leave holes in the fiber . It may be less time consuming to cut the fiber after its set and a little green.

10.4 looks like a good job. That is much better than I could have done with a router . I tried to use a spirel cutter to dress up the outside with the same result ,cut and solder time .
