I now have two sets of blades from Texas, one set each from the two different E-Bay sellers.
(magnet_master, jeff at CMS) 81.5" set
(magnet4less, allen) 6.8' set.
Both of these sets are the same as far as length, width and mounting holes.
And they are built pretty good and of fair quality.
The set from allen seemed a bit more on the "raw" side but, they are only 7.6 grams different between them!
The set from jeff seemed to be a bit better but, they do weight more, around 150 grams more each, and are 31.3 grams different between most and least.
Both sets needed sanding and painted, and I didn't go for the stock hubs so I'm doing it the hard way as is my style.
A Dbl pulley found at junk yards lawn mower pile, (sitting right on top unhooked by somebody else), that I picked up for $5.00 is what I'm trying to use for now.
(Was the 5/8" size needed for two different gen's I have ready)
So far, The holes I drilled are a tiny bit OFF, tiny being that the difference between blades tip to tip is off by less than a half inch.
With the E-bay hubs out there, (NTL's also), being less than $30. shipped. I will be buying one to use and pattern from, one of these next paydays.
For now I'm trying to set up my CMI stepper for testing and maybe the Ametek 30 next or also.
I'm in a really bad need of some charging volts so I hope to get a bank set up at 12 VDC and running on its own.
I'm going to try to build a tip-up tower base from a old sat.dish base turned over and should be able to get past the 10'-15' that I've been stuck at.
These new blades at 10' are a bit scary to walk around when turning!!!!
You all are safe from me posting any pictures, I haven't bought a new camera yet and old one still not working after last drop.
