Help for Jerry
« on: August 06, 2007, 12:23:33 AM »
Nice idea Ralph(luv2weld)

Hate to see him selling his re stuff to get by.

Not sure how to organize such a campaign.

If we all give a little it would add up bigtime for his family.

We are all one big family right.

how paypal works.

As what I know from using and buying with paypal, I just tell paypal to send this much $ to this E-ddress and its done. I think he'd have to have a paypal account and thats easy if you have a banking account number that you'd give them.

I'm using a number for a debit card because I've never had or ever will have a credit card! The only risk I'm taking is with how much I put into that account and thats all, I've also not been burned yet and hope to stay that way!

I also, "Hate to see him selling his re stuff", but

 Hey, jerry-

What's ya got in hub's n blades?????????

I am not tracking you there? Did you expect a bigger response? I don't see anyone saying anything negative in this thread? Clue me in, please. We like everyone here.

Just curious if I missed something or ??

My boss at work is a fire chief in a local municipality and when I asked him why he was a volunteer firefighter I got a great response.  He told me that if it was his house on fire he would hope that someone who felt the same would be the one helping to put out the flames.  Come on folks! If this happened to you, wouldn't you appreciate and welcome the assistance?  What's a couple bucks to each and everyone of us?

When I posted the fire story it was primaraly to let this group know the why of my absence and what a poop the news papper can be.

I do apriciate all the kind offers but my situation is not that desperate.

We've had a few small sales to loyal customers and now my wife and I are learning the e-bay thing. We've been wanting to do that for a couple years now anyway.

I would feel quite strange and ashamed taking any of your money.

I don't mind takeing your money if I've sold you something you want or need at a fair price to you.

I'm not to that point of holding up the cardboard sign at the 4 way stop yet and I realy don't think it will come to that.

So please hang on to your hard earened money.

I'll try to keep throwing up things on the clasifides but it looks like we may be back in our store in a couple weeks?

I think as many of you have said "this to shal pass".

So take that extra money and give it to someone who realy needs it or buy some magnets or wire from our great hosts.

Thanks everyone, your a heck of a group.

Jerry;

Thanks for clearing that up.

I kind of figured you would feel this way but it was not my place to say.

As I said before, if there is anything I can do to help, I will do what I can. Online stuff and computers are my general area.

Cheers.

vawtman-

" If its me you dont like"

O-no !

Like jerrys posts, yours I enjoy also.

As for the blades n hubs thing-

thats something he normally sells. So, If I think one might work for me I'd be helping normally, as I would, if he was close by.

:|

Jerry-

I don't  think those hubs would help with the glass E-bay blades I'm trying, thanks and yes even this will seem small and even a bit funny someday.

I might have to try one of ntl's hubs for these 81.5" sets. The 102" set isn't here yet and I'm in the dark about it's hub hole pattern.
