Beijing source
« on: October 18, 2007, 07:39:03 AM »
I've been to Beijing five times in the last year and will be returning in November.

Each time I go, I spent some time trying to find a source for the "Made in China" wind turbines you see popping up in this country (Canada). Anyone know where I might look?  Is there a prefered model that gives you  more bang for your buck over others?

I seen one unit in the local RONA store that puts out roughly 800W.  I'd be happy to play with something like this if the price is right.

Thank you,  Perry

Let me know what kind of prices you can get there. I would be interested in the biggest 24 VDC system that they have.

I made it back alive.  No luck agian,  however a local friend of mine gave me a good lead to follow up on my next trip.

It appears most of the factories building these are outside of Beijing. There is one place in the N.W. part of the city close to the zoo (Haidian district) that I will have to check on my next trip.

Searching online comes up with alot in the city of Shanghi.  So close  but so far away.

Cheers, Perry
