A nice looking product, I have to admit. But it doesn't produce any plausible wind power performance at all imho.

I am guessing the 4 bladed 'fan' is 3" in diameter.

Betz calculator - 0.4 foot diameter prop can produce at 10 mph 0.19 watts.

This is just a piece of rubbish that should not be mis sold to unsuspecting folk...

I have read the retail price is $50

I hope Google picks it up.

Skip the intro - the site is 'flash' driven but poor and incomplete.

Maybe I should have posted this in the Rant section - It does annoy me.

And you'd have to be real careful sitting down: fast turning blades could do a horrible injury. Eeek...

Actually bought one to test,

The blade diameter is actually 2 3/8" - less than I anticipated.

It would certainly need external propulsion to get any mA of charge - i.e a fast bicycle or vehicle - don't expect much at all...

Disappointing - Products like this give wind power a bad name...
