Up and running (some pics)
« on: August 26, 2008, 11:15:29 PM »
Hello everyone,

After several weeks of hard work I finally managed to get my first windmill up and running.

Here are some pictures.

The first pictures is me testing the blades. The later ones are installing the windmill and testing it.

It is an 2.6m windmill and will peak out at 500W.

I haven't done any electrical tests yet.

I get some kind of expired login complaint when I try to view images in that link.

Only shows one photo of 2 people in a field holding a prop. Clicking "next" initiates the complaint about expired login.

Just thought you might like to know.

Kind of why we historically discourage off site hosting for images.

Very nice little windmill.  Pretty much what i'd like to build.  (Somewhere between 100-500 Watts)

The link with the pic's worked for me, and didn't ask for a login ...

Nice blades by the looks, well done , and is that a cool tale or what?

Good stuff. I hope it runs as well is it looks.

Will be looking at your flying results when they come out.

Did find the site cumbersome though, but thanks for sharing all the same.
