Fall 2008
« on: October 19, 2008, 06:12:51 AM »
October 2008...Northern Alberta...Lac La biche area.

The pellet stove is coming on more and I found I use less amp/hrs by using it on a hi/low setting. This model uses 500 watts for 15 minutes when lighting and 100 watts average.

The genset is now coming on and charging the batteries for 3 hours every night.

So far the trimetric meter is saying we use 200 amp hours per day average.

The mx60 says 660 watts charging on a clear day.  My guess is the 1 shattered 120watt solar panel is dragging things down. ( it was free...).
