Just a quick note the Midnite solar wind sights are now live. Go to www.nidnitesolar.com and scroll down to the bottom right

Madre the link clickable. TW

The Classic Test Page has links to five sites allowing real-time viewing of system input/outputs..

I think that this is perhaps the coolest thing I have ever seen on the internet!

This Classic seems soooo close to production now, I remember back when it was a pipe dream. I remember emailing DanB back in '05 or so and wondered why I couldn't put a 48V wind turbine on a 24V battery bank with a MX60. Took me a couple years to figure out the difference between solar MPPT and wind MPPT.

Maybe I'm over-excitable, but this thing is gonna be really really cool in my book, especially if it talks ;-)

It is cool it will open many doors for all of us.

It will talk I will gather more info there in the next few days.

On a side note I am excited tommorow Dan B and Dan F will be giving a 3 hour seminar on theory.

Very cool indeed....

One thing I can't figure out though, the one wind site listed appears only to show data from the turbine that is hooked to the classic.  I thought they were going to instrument the other, non-mppt turbine also at that site so we can see more directly the difference in power production?  If there is data for the other turbine there, I can't find it.  It would be especially useful to be able to plot both turbines data on the same graph.  It would also be useful if they applied some smoothing and/or curve fitting to the data points that make up the scatter plot.  I mean, you can see the trend line of the power curve more or less, but it would be more useful to see a simple curve.  I'd settle for simply seeing what the total daily kWh is for each turbine.  That is the real tail of the tape I think....

Very cool though....
