4 MWH used so far
« on: July 29, 2009, 04:58:05 AM »
I was in the basement pulling new #6 wires through the conduit for the solar array (the "temporary" 14-2 NMB has been on the ground in the sun for 2 years now with 17A through it) And I looked up at the Utility type KWH meter I put in with the system and Low and Behold it read 4041 KWH of 120/240V I have used in the last 2 years.

So:  How many panels are paid off?

(Don't forget to include interest on the virtual "loan at mortgage rates" in the cost of the array.)

That would pay for 2 of the 50 watt thinfilms, out of the 40 that are installed, or 3/4 of a 195W Evergreen, 9 installed
