I Love Craigs list some times.

Just picked up four more Trojan T105's off of Craig's list, one year old, specific gravity right around 1270. also got the interconnect cables and a carry strap for them in the deal.

with nice high spec gravity i would think those batteries are in not only full

charge condition but also near new condition


excellent buy considering what the new retail price is today on those batteries.


has it been that long ago that i could buy them for 65 bucks each???

They are just under a year old, been kept on a good charger, He was reducing the excess weight in his motor home, since he was not planning on camping out in the desert for a couple of weeks at a time anymore.


My last pair cost $90 each, almost two years ago.

nice!  never thought to check for batteries on craigslist.


i did find my 'never been assembled' 60' rohn tower on craigslist for $500.  pics of it a cpl posts down in 'diaries'.

I had a big Craigs score last week, a guy had 10 200' coils of 3/8 galvanized cable, in basically new condition, he wanted $250 for it, I got him down to $175 for 2000 feet, one more thing of my 80' tower list. :)

Yep, sometimes there is a good deal to be had. A month ago I picked up 6 good 4x8 foot flat plate hot water collectors, plus an additional one minus the glass... all for $100.

I got 3 flat panel collectors a couple of years ago, free, remove from my roof...

still have not got the system together...
