A small home hydro
« on: December 06, 2005, 02:15:49 PM »
Here's an idea I had.  When its sunny, solar panels can make power.  When its windy, then wind generators can.  But what about those nasty just raining days?  How about a small hydro type generate that would attach to your gutter spouts?

This is typical of asking before calculating.  If one were to calculate how much water falls on their roof they would realize how little power is there.  Then they will realize with collection and generator costs ..... Well, it just isn't worth it.
