siphon power? [Duplicate CLOSED]
« on: November 22, 2009, 10:01:18 AM »

I have a 1/2 acre pond behind my house. Trouble is I only have about 5 foot of head to my basement. But on the other side of the house there is a 50' drop to a creek.

Can anyone tell me if this negative drop can be utilized? I am only looking to power a 2 battery bank. But the bigger the better if i can.

Im sure I could power somthing like this..

If link does not work,  Its a garden hose powered generator. Says you can recharge your car while washing it. Made by "Bic" looks like the lighter logo. But must be a proto type, because I cannot find one for sale anywhere. And I am not sure it could handle continuous use.

I would like to try powering one of thoes windmill generators on Other Power.com.

Any ideas or info on this subject greatly appreciated.
