The Banki if properly adjusted and placed will have most of the stream passing over the shaft before hitting the second outer blades, all depends on the exit angle of the Banki Blades and the nozzle water velocity as well as how and where the nozzle is applied to the Banki .
The Nozzle should be placed such that the water hits more than one blade, I have built them hitting 4 to 8 blades ( no vibration will occur) hitting a single blade will generate vibration and reduction of power.
