Micro-hydro Workshop
« on: July 12, 2006, 03:23:17 AM »
The Folks at SEI asked if we'd help promote this.  SEI workshops are lots of fun and a good opportunity (at least that's been my experience).  I've never been there - but I've heard that Carbondale is beautiful.

----------------------------------------------------

This Summer Join SEI for a unique workshop experience: Micro Hydro Power. This workshop teaches how to design a fully functional micro-hydro system. Learn site evaluation, including how to measure and estimate head and flow. Perform preliminary system sizing for mechanical and electrical power generation of 50-watt to 100-kilowatt capacities. The workshop will include field exercises and tours of operational systems.

This engagement starts on Monday July 31st finishing on Friday August 4th .

Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn how to generate power from water!! Help us to make this workshop a success and pass on this information to friends, family, colleagues and others...

For more information about this class and all others visit SEI on the web at www.solarenergy.org or call us at 970.963.8855 for workshop details or to register.

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.
