Im hoping there are some people with some lister engine experience in these forums to help me with a couple of questions i have before i go out and buy myself an old lister engine.
Q: How many watts can i likely generate with a lister D 1.5hp engine if i make my own alternator from scratch using hugh piggots home made alternator methods advertized on the wind power website www.scoraigwind.com?. Ive googled for info trying to find a genset that uses this model of lister engine but only a few pictures exist with no further info on the net.
Q: Also what size alternator would be most suitable for this size of engine to get the maximum possible power at low rpm if im making my alternator using hugh piggots plans?
