Ok, I understand that there is no Rights and Wrongs. There are only concessions and wrongs. I have seen many schools on Copper, 9 coin, 18 coil, a reference that over lapping coil was old school, Lenz, over laps, but the stator sold here is a 9 coil (no overlap). You read the postings and some are old listings some are new, but none are comparative. I have purchased a shelf wind ginny and solar to compare my unit when I'm done. I like many think I have a new and unique idea, but need to try it before I shoot my mouth off. I'm just astounded by the lack of info, the correctness of the manuals, or even the lack of knowledge in there tech support people. Things as simple as what are the LED on your box are for, they had to call china for the answer. Still waiting for the answer!
Sorry about the rant, the question is on the coil count and copper issue, 9 standalone, 18 overlap, pros/cons?
