My first attempt at a wind turbine works great so long as we are getting hurricane force winds. My generator needed to turn over faster then what most of my winds would do so I'm in the process of gearing it up via belts and pulleys. I have everything I need except for something to keep the shaft that the turbine is attached to inside of the bearings.
I'm almost certain a part exists that goes on the shaft just like the pulleys with set screws that I can use to lock the shaft into the bearings. Whats this piece called? looking around I didn't see what I was looking for and don't know the name to ask for them. Thanks
