windmills and insurance

does anyone worry about the liability of a winmill and tower? how would an insurance compamy view a homebuilt tower?

In my experance with Ins. companys, they usually will not insure anything unless it has a UL Inspection tag on it.

I'm sorry I should have stated liability ins., even if the changes are only .01% of someone getting hurt. I've seen enough pics through this forum of broken blades flying or tower crashes etc.


I just wonder if the ins company would cover anything or just drop you on the spot if they knew you had an unengineered tower?
