Oil sucks, wind blows.

Jerry is just a convenient name for something that otherwise doesn't seem to have one.
It is the case where you rectify each phase of a polyphase supply with a single phase bridge rectifier and parallel the dc connections. Has some similarities to delta but has less harmonic problems below cut in and may work better than delta above cut in. Only exists with rectified loads. Delta doesn't work properly with loads that generate harmonics, these circulate within the closed winding causing losses. With star the 3rd harmonic is cancelled as long as you don't connect to the neutral ( star point).

What are the Bennies of A Jerry setup over the others?
I'm sure Mr. Jerry can suggest some more advantages himself; those are just the ones that come to mind right now.
Thanks for the info.Hami
