re winding configuration

this is a newbie ? steven fahey posted some time back winding configuration very nice job being newbie elecricly ilitterate:} i see coils numbered 1,2,3 on the build a 10 ft windmill post on this under build stator and staor windings wired in star which is y coils numbered 1,2,3 my question is how do i number coil wires 1 thru 12 to be able to wire stator jerry configuration thanks in advance

If you will wire Jerry:


Each coil OR discrete group of coils will have its own rectifier.

If you rectify each coil then no need to worry about connecting as long as both ends of a coil go to its rectifier.


If you Jerry connect each phase rather than each coil just wire the phase coils in series as if it was star but connect the start and finish of each phase to its rectifier.
