Hi Folks, Thanks for the help on inserting photos here are some pictures of my 24volt 11 ft. miil. It follows the Dan's recipe almost to a "T".
Now dont worry this is not some kind of South Carolina wind boat, at the time I did not have my stand completly built and I had to use some bailing wire to tie it off behind the Jon boat. A friend kept it secure and only got out the way while I took a couple of cell phone pics
)
Notice my D-Day invasion colors on the tail? It's my own little invasion on the local power grid....all those tall 40-50 pine trees in both shots are dissapearing fast...sad part is, I cant even give the wood away free...groan. If you look close enough in one photo you can see the tower material (4 inch sch 40 pipe on the ground) to the right of the boat.
There are a few things left to do on the mill such as cut the all thread to length and install the acorn screws on the hub... maybe one or two other things.
Now if I can finish my tower and hoist that puppy up 60 feet!
