G/day . I still haven't worked out how to post the pics here so I have uploaded them to my user file.

Check out the pic titled "alternator-001".  Reminds me of Oztules "sneaky drum machine"

Also check out "downwind 001"  and in particular the fellow standing at about 3 o'clock in the nacell. Bit too big for my place (this is a 6 mgw turbine).

The bearings in the top pic look kinda small.

Cool pic on the second. Direct drive turbines are impressive. I think that's an Enercon, right?
