"WWW" scoop bug and how to avoid it

your uploads don't appear, you can't submit a posting, you get blank pages where there should be text, your user prefs don't work.....

You probably typed the URL of the board into your browser as:
http://fieldlines.com

instead of

http://www.fieldlines.com

Logout, be sure the www is on there, and try again -- it should work.

And if you ever have problems with Scoop logging you out randomly, or you get "permission denied" when logged in and trying to post -- you probably have multiple accounts with this board on your computer. Go into your browser prefs (or your C:WINDOWS\cookies folder if you use Micro$oft products) and DELETE your cookie from www.fieldlines.com --- then log back in. That should fix THAT problem!
