New section:-

"Newbies"

I'd been wondering how long it was here,

untill I figured out that it was only a day or so

that I hadn't seen it before.

I am all for this.

We all started as one sometime.

For the masters-

DanB-

Flux-

"Mr. Zubbly"-  (" "In honor of)

Commanda-

Nando-

Huge-

And the rest, (Don't be offended if your not on this stupid list !!! just my $0.02 and it's not worth even that !!! ).

The answers you have given and the time you've spent doing so are great gifts to the people that are willing to read them and learn from them.

THANK YOU !!!

"that ask the "obvious" questions"

I do this all the time for a reason,

For others to read and learn from.

I'll rethink that from now on.

I do have a degree in "Electrical Tech"

ISU 1987

But being that I got a better job offer after,

I never worked in the industry for more than a year so I'm relearning some and remembering some.

Anyway, this site is the place!

Nobody has to be here!

We come here because we want to.

We read what we want to.

We post if we want to.

So please remember that even the newbies might not feel good about your reply if worded badly.

aegisxgundam;

Sorry, cannot say yes or no.

The "short" answer:

It depends.

The "Long" answer:

See most of this sight's postings on motors as generators, well alternators to be precise.

I agree. "Newbies" becomes a graveyard for the posts of new joiners however sensible or relevant. I posted a serious question after trawling though dozen and dozen of old threads, put my post in Wind where I believe it belonged but it survived there about two minutes and will doubtless be read mainly by "Newbies" whose posts end up in the same place. Just my 2c.
