1) How do we change our password so I can have one easy to remember?

2) How do we post a picture in a "response" posting to someone else's posting? ..instead of starting a brand new posting to get a photo in each time?

3) Why is there an easter egg anemometer on my "Hot List"?

Change password:

log in

on the right over there---->> after you log in click "User Preferences"

at the bottom of that page is the place you can change your password.

To get rid of stuff in the hotlist:

click on the link in the hotlist. When the hotlisted  page loads click the "Remove from Hotlist" link just to the right of the story title.

Every story has a add to hotlist or remove from hotlist link.

You must have clicked add to hotlist somewhere along the line.

Images are easy but its a manual thing

Seems to me that if you never log out you never have to log in

It seems that way because the server sets you a cookie with your username and password...so it just automatically logs you in. The only times it causes problems is if you are the board ADMIN and have to log in under a couple different usernames...then you have to log out, and login again.

I tried turning that on after reading your question and it did not work. I need to pull out my javascript book and find out why! HOWEVER you can still post your pics manually in a reply by including the IMG tag; TomW explains that below. But it's now on the punch list, and will get figured out soon!
