that would be a cool feature, we'll add it to the list of ideas for the "next" update.

For now... if you don't like what you see, couple of things you can do.

(1) ignore it (its hard sometimes for me, but that seems perhaps the best way)

(2)dont ever look in quarantine!

(3) email us.  If we get enough complaints we'll try to do something :)

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.

Mr. Pants;

You act like an arrogant little immature pissant. I say this with complete honesty but it is my personal opinion only.

Not to mention your education is lacking and I think you are an irritating little jerk with the sole purpose of getting attention. Stop by the house sometime and I will gladly educate you to the realities of life and, perhaps. give you a spelling lesson or two, no charge.

Please grow up or go away until you do.

Bill!  There you are!  Got worried about you.

Hey everyone, don't read this if you find me offensive.

Really, stop reading now, just go on to the next whatever.  And don't worry, from now on all my postings will go directly to Quarantine, so you can't say you happened upon me by accident, and then clicked on "FULL STORY" by accident.

If I see something on the main board I want to comment on, I will copy and paste to the Quarantine Zine, and make my comment there.

The irony of it is, those doing the whining, come in "Anonymous" and/or do not leave their name at the end of their message, when they talk smack.

Or they use other means of sneaky attack when their limping ego lost an argument.  At least I sign my name and you know I said what.  A little lesson on charactor, how ever you spell it.

Ah?  Wyoming Bob, I do owe you an apology.  I just got so use to defending myself against 4 or 5 at a time that I started barking at shadows.  I'm sorry.  (sincere)

What ever I have to say I put on the board with my name.  Nothing sneaky.  And when I know I'm wrong I admit it.

I'd say that's pretty "grown up"

In principle it is easy to deal with such posts you don't

want to read. Just leave them unread. In that sense

a feature, which doesn't show some posts as

sent  by certain predefined persons

is completely useless.

On the other hand for people working professionally

with computers to make such kind of feature working

might be an interesting challenge. But if people constantly

change their email address from where to send posts

it is quite impossible to make such kind of feature?

If we think about the general attitude, which kind

of posts there are to read and  which kind of posts

people seem to like to read...

It is quite clear to me that the most interesting

posts are often coming from people who are quite new

in the field of 'alternative technology'. This field

is already that old that there are many traditional

thinking ways, which make people often too conservative

in their thinking if they have been reading a lot

of this stuff. Many technologies were forgotten because

of irrational reasons, many were forgotten because of

reasons realted to society of the time.  Often people

don't know the reason why something was forgotten

or decided to be an idea not worth of thinking.

New people often simple don't knwo that something

was almost 'banned' for some crazy reason and then

they think and say something,

which shows the whole matter from a new angle.

On the other hand it is of course important that

some people involved in the discussion

have got good background knowledge.

Many kinds of people are needed to get good work

to be done.

I've enjoyed a lot to be some time part

of these discussions. I cannot say, whose posts have

been best. I've enjoyed much to read posts of

both of the Eds and Dans, by Troy, by ifred, I've liked

the new questions asked by new people coming in,

I've liked as well a lot the posts of JCP, whose

links are often really great.

Here here Hannu,
Good points raised. The real juice comes from people that think outside the box. Many of us Kindergarten students on the board are just fooling around with hypotheticals and duct tape. Some of these wacko ideas are not new and require the tempered advice of the board "Elders".
However some maybe as point out refreshing looks at old ideas.  Sometimes reinventing the wheel can be just what fits the bill.

You know, I've been thinking Bill, some of what some of the people are saying is true.  I'm making the transition from chat room to this, ha, well, when it first came out it was the only thing around.

Anyway, I recently compiled alot of what is going on around here and found that the more rude stuff was said to me, like "Old Grump" who's one and only posting on this board was to cuss me out (above I think) the way only one of the guys who lost and argument about basic English, and Gravity would have?

And guess who?  The guy accusing me of using fake names. The guy with 10 names, able to bombard Dan with fraud complaint email about me, even if some were real.  Everyone saw that argument, I'm suposed to oppologize for using a dictionary.

But even if some e-complaints were real, they were real, baby sister.

You see above, "Old Grump" one of his fake names (or an only one post name) calling me names, I've never even talked to the guy that I know of.

Did I email Dan about it?  No, never have bothered him with such nonsense.  Dan has better things to do that read crybaby mail, "I picked a fight with that other boy, only he won, that's no fare."

Please.

And Tom, I said I would post my stuff in Qauarntine, it was a (volunteer) thing.  You know what that means don't you?  Please do not move my stuff for me.

 Thank You

And when I tag a PS on to one of my postings, it doesn't mean I'm answering my own postings.  Most people in America know (PS) stands for "Post Script" Don't you?
