Are you for sure logged in? If you are logged in your user name should show in the second box to your right.


The "new" flags are based on what you have read as a logged in user.


Thats the first thought to come to mind.

I'm guessing you used the "back" button on your browser to get back to the front page...so it still has the old information. Try reading the message, and click "front page" again -- that'll refresh the page and the NEW tag should go away.

It sure would be nice to have a way to "mark all read" before leaving the board so that on the next visit only topic that have new comments since the last visit show up as New.


The way it is now, since I read perhaps 15% of the topics, 85%+ of the topics will always show New which makes the New flag kind of useless for me.


On the other hand maybe I'm doing something wrong?
