Re: Updated waste oil heater- WVO

Hi I just joined this discussion board.  I know NOTHING about heating, engeneering, waste veggie oil etc.  I am looking for some help

I work on a farm in MA, and my employer is going to have to shut down her greenhouse and throw out her entire stock and start again next year because oil is costing so much.  I am trying to convince her to conver her oil burning heater to waste veggie oil-  but i really don't know how to do it.  It seemed from the way this discussion was going, someone might be able to help me.

What would it take to convert an existing oil burning heater to WVO, and not have the wvo freeze up?

any help, or links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jessica

Personally I like heaters to run independent of any electrical connections.

I realise that here in Southern Australia we have milder winters than Europe and the US  but never the less, I'm sure that it could be "warmed up" a little without much effort.
