Can somone tell me why the postings listed under "homebrewed electricity" and "front page" are too wide for the screen and others are not?????? I have to scroll back and forth across the screen to read them.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Ray;

Hey you noticed that too, huh?

Well, plain and simple its because users post either monstrous pictures or silly 3 line URLs in comments and there is not much that can be done other than educate the users which seems to be an utter failure so far. I fix these issues daily in stories but I cannot fix comments other than by deleting them and thats against board policy.

Maybe if enough folks raise the issue it we will find a way to fix it as we go. I have made suggestions on how to fix this but none have been implemented yet so there is not much I can do from here.

Frankly, I have given up on trying to explain it.

Cheers.

Thats because I fixed the story that had a long URL in the intro text even tho it plainly says "NO HTML in intro Text".

Cheers.

... '3 line URL' ...

I think that the biggest problems

are the long URLs.

Is there any practical way

to deal with them?
