Excel energy. Anybody see this?
« on: December 25, 2004, 02:38:42 AM »
Got my Exel bill this month. WOW !! 173.00. Last month 7.95.What gives?

The circular that they send with the bill had a recommendation that their customers should buy home generators for power outages. They must be figuring on severe power outages in the near future.I have never heard of a utility saying this.

George's Utterpower Site looks better and better every day.

Didn't know where to put this. Figured rants might be a good spot

Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous New Year too

Do they send an estimated bill every other month?  One time my power company owed me money (in theory anyway).  That recommendation is curious.  Maybe they plan to go out of business.

They may think you will have your own power already next month, as they adviced, so estimated lower than usual.
