UK goverment to intervene in rooptop turbine claims
« on: March 01, 2007, 01:36:48 AM »
it seems the claims of rooptop turbine makers are to be checked by a goverment commitee. i dont have any details other than it is proposed to set up a office to check the claimed savings from fitting rooptop turbines. it is about time this was done before too many people feel ripped off. i know i would be if i had just spent 1500 quid on something that would take 10 years to pay for its self before it started to save me any money. efficient appliances and  cfl,s will save a lot more. but we all know that. this is of course due to the fact that govererment grants are involved. or maybe they are doing out of a sense of fair play...
