got my 11 ft turbine on a 11 ft. test tower
13 inch disc, 24 2x 1/2x 1/2 magnets
cut metal from a old swimming pool surround rolled up for return path
- turns 2 in hand awg 18
- ft blades 19 inch at root 5 5/8 inch at tip
turbine on tower, with my back to the turbine.
i just got rectifier and everything hooked up. battery not yet on and heard a swish swish swish a very faint swish mind you.
anyway, cut in without battery 100 rpm 12.5 volts
as flux has warned i have to be very careful with furling.
still working on that, just have a rope tied to tail to turn from wind.
hoping and planning on furling working well.
