why ship the junk to china?

traditionaly big vertical axis mills were used to grind grain into flour

i watched a tv show were some guys did just that.

i wonder if it would be possible to grind electronic stuff like tv's and computers

into powder and separate the various substances according to there relative densities.

Usually they just melt it and let the different materials float out ...

The best way is to seperate the different components as far as possible before going to rough methods like melting (or grinding?).

Unfortunately this is very work-demanding.That's why the junk goes to china.

In fact I never saw vawts grinding grain.

where was that?
