Are you getting good results from your turbine?
« on: February 16, 2010, 03:37:16 AM »
I am doing research for a new website - www.comparewindturbines.co.uk into which turbines actually work well, as proven by actual examples.

If you have bought or made a turbine, I would love some feedback so that we can get the website as accurate and complete as possible.

If you would care to send in any results, statistics or a critique of your turbine, please write to enquiries@hoverdays.co.uk.  I am looking for the following information plus any other details you can mention:

Make of turbine

Cost

Power produced at different wind speeds

Durability - has anything broken?

Age of turbine

If home made, did you buy any components such as PMA, batteries or blades?

Ease of assembly

Battery or grid tie?

Hopefully we can build enough of a database to help newbies into the renewable energy world with enough real information to make a well-informed choice.

I look forward to hearing about all your turbines....

All the best,

Tim Robbins

Grin, If you plan on hosting the site "www.comparewindturbines.co.uk" might be a good idea to register it first, before telling the world. Came up unregistered for me.

Looks like you may be associated with this company - same e-mail address.

Is this your URL with Tim Robbins at the foot of the page?

It seems your enquiry may be more to do with commercial operations.
