I just acquired an old Mobil 30 watt / 12 volt panel that has broken safety glass, still intact and putting out
.7 amp. Can the cells be seperated from the glazing by disassembling the perimeter aluminum frame so I can install new glass,
or are the cells bonded some how and not worth the hassle?
I can always double glaze over the crackled broke glass just to keep moisture out as a half ass cure with a clear perimeter bead of GE silicone .
