water pump
« on: September 28, 2005, 07:45:22 AM »
Hi,

I'm living in Tanzania and have a problem with a swimming pool which has no pump.

A lot of tinyleaves fall into the pool and sink to the bottom. I have solar power and was thinking that with a small water pump I could "vacuum" the rubbish from the bottom of the pool.

Can anybody give me tips on how to do this and what sort of pump to buy?

thanks

Attwood Brand boat bildge pumps move a lot of water for the 12V power used.

The V650 moves a lot of water at a low head using only 1 amp.

Designing the filter for your use would be fun.

thanks for the comment

What should I do with the filter? And can you give me an estimated price for a pump like that?
