$3/watt x 10,000

I thought this one was kind of interseting only because of it's scale. That and the description says he has much more.

Dans, if this is something that will get me in trouble for posting just dump it.

Yeah I saw that the other day. To bad I dont have $30,000 handy or I could get panels at $3 a watt. Not a bad deal, but you may be able to get cheaper if you keep looking.

Last summer I bought just a couple NEW panels retail at $3.50 a watt.  Now you almost have to pay that for used panels on ebay.  I thought with increased production going to Europe there would a good supply of less than prime panels at a decent price.

A company needs to step up and make a few more million panels to get the price down faster. Or sell me the materials to do it myself.

trust me, i don't know if you want to do it yourself, the verdict isn't in for me yet, yesterday i dropped my soldering gun on the ground, so that's another cost i have to factor in......doing the panels yourself isn't for the mild hearted like myself....... :)   pickster

I just want some cheaper panels, because right now my electric from the company is cheaper. That's why I'll probably try wind power too, since I have no creek.
