You didn't list a source.

However,

That is about $9 / watt.  Shipping for small quantities will push it to over $10 / watt which is much more than I would like to pay unless I can justify the additional expense with more optimal production, or perhaps better space utilization.

Sheesh $738US for an 80 watt solar panel .WOW thats way to much especially when here in Oz we can get the same panel for under $700 and that price is still a ripoff. Atleast if I decide to upgrade and put more panels in I can get a decent govt rebate. But with all my dealings with Hong Kong in the past my advise is stay well away from there. I may sound a bit harsh but I've never had a decent deal to date and have been bitten twice.

WOW!!!!  That's why I haven't even looked at panels in a year.  A year and half ago I bought two PHOTOWATT 75 watt panels at retail for only $572 total delivered.  Now you can't buy used ratty panels for that price.

I have no idea why you would pay these prices.

EarthSolar.com has two panels in the 125 Watt range for less than $540.  Even if shipping is $40 you are still paying around $0.046/Watt.

I'll take 10Kw at that price. Are you sure you don't mean $4.6/Watt?

You're right, of course.  Really shouldn't hurry to get these things in before going back to work.
