BP bought out Solarex several years back, but retained the Millennia model name for a while. They recently dropped 'millennia' in favor of a simpler alpha-numeric modle designation. Those panels look an awful lot like the Millennia/BP-850's I got a while back. http://www.southwestpv.com/Catalog/PDF/BP_850_840.pdf

Solarex, while no longer in existance in its own right, is still (from what little I've heard) concidered a reliable name in PV's.

If it sounds too good...?

Open volts = 102V, Peak power volts = 81V, Peak power amps = 0.6.

Sounds like a strange panel for most common uses, even with all the strange voltages they are making now.

He sold about 50,000 watts of these so far?  So they were REMOVED from a commercial installation for some reason. Why?

At 7 to 12 years old and thin-film, they may be not as reliable as they were. Not worth maintaining?

His storage facility looks like a field.

That said, a few years ago I used 1/2 a skid of the BP 12V PVs like those with no problems so far (that I am aware of).

For their price, those panels do look attractive.  I've been using high voltage thin-film panels (Kaneka) so far and really like them.  Too bad that my next phase of PV needs higher-efficiency panel due to space limitations, however, as I was tempted to bid on one of this ebayer's previous auctions.

A few things to consider.  Shipping 950 pounds isn't cheap, so factor that expense into your cost per watt.  Also, since they are both thin-film and only 40 watts each (90% of the rated power per what the ebayer said), you'll be mounting and wiring many panels that cover many square feet of space.  Depending upon how you mount them, this can add quite a bit to the final cost and will certainly add to the time it takes to install them.  The ebay auction has a decent raw price per watt; just remember to add in all the extra costs of dealing with that many panels.
