Ok we have our solar panel working.
It's on the roof, high enough so that balls wont break it, but what about the dust?
I live near to a unpaved road, in the country.
In the summer, when I wash the panel it stays clean for about one week.
And I am very lazy...
So I tried this, six months ago.
A cotton string with a peace of towel, those you use in the kitchen
Its been "working" for 6 months. It moves with the wind from time to time. It´s not like a wind mill. Enough to take the dust off.
As we can see by the clean circle.
So I Will do it to the whole panel.
What you need
-Scissors
-Cotton string
-Washing Towel
-Silicone
-Tape
The tape will stand until the silicone is hard. Then you take it off.
These ones are larger than the test so maybe it will need to move more with the wind
Tying small bits of string it is not so flat anymore.
It will probably move faster with less wind.
This is the complete panel with all the strings covering all the glass.
(As you can see by the broken glass, a good frame for the panel is very important).
Of course this can also be used in roof windows and so on.
Here is a video of the working thing:

Hope you find it useful.
