Reserve Capacity

(1/1)

PEdoubleNIZZLE:
I know the number for the reserve capacity rating is how many minutes@25Amps you can use the battery when it goes from full voltage to a lower voltage (i think 10.5V but please correct me if im wrong). My question is, if the drain is double, at 50 Amps, does the reserve capacity in miutes cut in half, or is it something exponential or logarithmic that will fry my brain tying to figure it out?

zmoz:
In theory, yes. With any battery, however, the total capacity goes down as the load increases. There is no mathematical equation that can tell you exactly how much.
