help identifying exide Heritage battery pls
« on: November 26, 2005, 08:37:15 PM »
My battery guy has some unused Exide Heritage 95024-cw. New in 9-03, flooded and charged 10-04. Never used. Only six of the 4 volt cells fit on a pallet so I'm guessing that they have about a 1500Ah capacity but I can't find any reference to the CW series on Exide's site. Is anyone familiar with these flooded LA batteries? One real cool things about them is that they have a port which allow SpGr testing samples to be taken from the middle of the battery.

Thanks in advance, John...

Found them. They are DataSafe 2DX-19. They're rated at about 2600 watts/cell at the 15min rate. He may only have enough for a 24volt string. If anyone is interested in them let me know. Total weight is about 2200lb.
