I see people claiming to separate water for burning using electrolysis. Would there be any advantage to high voltage dc? I was thinking of using an inverter on the battery, then stepping up the 120v by feeding a transformer backwards, so to speak, which would get me to 460 vac which could then be rectified to 230 vdc. Would there be any advantage to the higher voltage? I like the idea of the inverter limiting current too. Maybe I wouldn't burn up all the wiring in my car.
I'll beg forgiveness in advance for my ignorance in hopes one of you smart people can save me a lot of time if I'm barking up the wrong tree. Thanks.
