I am fortunate to have three very small usable springs on my property. There is a total of eight. But only three are easily usable for domestic water. I am suggesting that those that have springs check into their water rights on there land. There has been a renewed effort on people to refile on their water rights. Check carefully for if you refile it may viod some of your old original water rights. And good water will become the most wanted item within the next 25 years. Building a small micro hydro system is great but watch out for the people wanting to know what you are doing with their water. Just a suggestion worth looking into.
