Hi my name is Ian
I have been lerking in the background for quite some months reading and playing with numbers .Time too do some actual work now i thought
i would like to query my results i have
3phase 12v
single rotor 19" od
- 1"x2"x0.5" magnets
- coils ( not made these yet )
my calculations
N= number of turns ?
A= area in square meters magnets 0.0129
R= revolutions per second 0.46
B= magnetic strength in Teslas 1.32
P= number of poles 24
i have calculated that it will take 32 turns.
what i would like too know is is that 32 turns per coil or is that 32/ 6 coils because of 6 coils per phase = 5.3 turns for each call it 6
if thats true can i add more turns per coil to get more amps
thanks in advance ian
