Here's a site that offers an online game. You're goal is to build RE installations such as wind, solar, biogas, etc in order to bring the ratio of RE to Fossil fuel usage to 50:50.

The game is free (and they claim an early-ish version). Their real "product" is a "bot" that you can ask for advice, sometimes for cash. Whatever. I don't think most people here will need to ask their bot any questions.
The game uses macromedia 'Flash'
I just started 'playing' it and it seems interesting. Maybe best if played with your kids as a way to get them interested and to understand RE resources better.
