From their site:
"TRITON 5 - 5kw vertical axis wind turbine, Our TRITON Power House, producing an outstanding and incredible 1,000kwh's per day. Price: $7,495.00 each."
They list their Triton 5 model at 5Kw and then go on to state that it will produce 1000 Kwh/day? 1000 Kwh/day would be a continuous average output of 41.67Kw right? They go on to state that all of their machines are rated outputs are based upon a 10MPH continuous wind. The machine can't both produce 5000 watts in a 10 mph continuous wind and produce 1000 kwh's per day in a 10 mph wind. Note the adjective "incredible" before the 1,000kwh's per day. It may be a more applicable description than the site designer had planned. It would be an amazing price for a machine if it could produce a megawatthour of power each day, but I'm from Illinois, which borders Missouri, so you'd have to 'show me' that it could. Rich Hagen
