Jacobs or not ?
« on: November 10, 2004, 12:31:08 AM »
I just helped a friend and gathered up some old wind gen parts and pieces I think that they are old Jacobs stuff but I am not sure. They have the gens. mounted high on the back above the root of the tail.  Can any one point me to a site that has some pix of these old mills?

Thank you Wild and New guy.... found it to be a 32volt wind charger no blade or governor(he thought it was 24volt) I have it to get the armature dipped and baked and clean up the fields  he has 3 more stacked out. and there is another still on a tower "way back in the county" that we need to disassemble and move. that might not happen this year.   but it is nice to finally know what they are and that we need to take better care of them   Thanks again Scott
