For Zigys post below.

If I do in the coment thing it allways says post failed. So I'll do it this way. Putters suck. I think why the $#%^ do you ask for a coment just to fail it? Even if I just say hi it says I used to many words?

That motor sounds like a good one for the job. Have you spun it by hand and measured the open volt yet?

4 ft blade should work well.

Hi Jerry,

It is not what you are posting, it is the title that is too long.

His title was almost too long.  When you post, it adds the "Re:" to his title, and that makes your comment title too long, so you have to take some words in the subject box out,

where it says "Re:Will this be suitable...?"

I remove everything but the "RE" when it is too long.

If you respond to this, notice where you type is called Comment.  Just above is a box called Subject:.  In the box is "Re: For Zigys post below".  This Subject is what was too long, after the Re: was added.

Thanks for the reply Jerry. I have not recieved the motor yet, it should be here in a few days. As soon as I have it in hand i will spin it and measure the voltage and post my findings. Thanks again for the help, I am very interested in wind power and just can't wait to get a couple flying and move up to bigger and better designs. I am happy I found this board as the info here is just priceless.

Sometimes it will add the 'New' subject after the username on the main / all page.

I changed the subject box to 'Hello'.  Don't know if it will show up, but 'Re:' used too I believe.  Look after 'ghurd' when you go back.

And the second time to the main page, the 'Hello' is gone.  Very strange habits.
