child of 12 built wood ax /103

HI,

   I am a child of twelve and i have built a wind turbine which is a cross between an ax and a wood 103


is this a record maybe! i will hopefully be putting up pictures soon

i am afraid not my little friend i made wind turbines since the age of 10 making my first one out of a modle airoplane prop and a small dc motor out of a video player.  Where in england do u live ? i live in kent ....

i think it is great to see young people like yourself getting into these crafts,


i remember being about your age, and checking out a radio book from the early 1900's, with spark gap technology.


you should have seen the look on the local tv repair guys face (he was a ham operator) when i went looking for parts to build one, ( a spark gap transmitter).  YIKES!


he told me i would likely be arrested, lol, should i try to build one.


bottom line is, it was a start toward nearly 40 years of continued learning, never built the transmitter and i understand now why it would have been a bad idea.


still smiling over this young man and his endevour into windpower


post some pics when you can, and stick with it.
